Criminally Ineffective: Another VS series. Each character has their own themesong by various bands, but I decided to do a series using only songs by my favorite band Placebo.

Arienette: A very large picture, examining each character of Verbrechen und Strafe through the song Arienette by Bright Eyes.

A Night at the Carnival: Whimsical pictures of all the VS couples at a carnival.

She's Saving Me: A piece to immortalize all the ways that the weak can truly save the strong. It's Aden and Mae-- and this time, it's not the tough girl holding the sword. Title comes from the song of the same name by The Indigo Girls.

The Fallen Interlude: We all have our skeletons; Aden is still draining the marrow from those bones. Title comes from Blink 182's instrumental song of the same name.

I Know What Died That Night: Aden holding the body of her younger self, inspired by lyrics from the song Bleed Black by AFI.

A Massacre in Action: Aden's true rage depicted through lyrics from the song Selfmade by OTEP.

i.am.my.own.creation: Two Aden pictures based on the same song?! This time, Aden isn't living the lyrics, she's just showing off her new tattoo. Based on the song Selfmade by OTEP.

Trapped: Aden and Elli; no explanation needed.

Blood Pigs: Aden and OTEP really were made for each other. A tragically graphic picture of Aden and =Voltaira's Absinthe. Based on the song of the same name by OTEP.

Devastating the Heavens: My Aden and August with =Voltaira's Absinthe and Morphyne bending the world to their will.

Sodomizing Team Rocket: Sorry, Jesse and James. Aden and Ichabod are the new dangerous duo.

Morning Sunshine: Ichabod and Jakob.

Hunger: Ichabod, Jakob! Stop eating each other's faces!

Dancing in the Clouds: Sashaaaa~!

The Red Light District: Tristan and Sasha are the true definition of star-crossed lovers.

Silver and Cold: Tristan and Sasha are tragic and fucked-up and absolutely perfect for one another. Their love isn't always pretty, but it's theirs. Based on the song Silver and Cold by AFI.

This Flesh is a Tomb: A picture of Sasha and Tristan set to Atreyu's song of the same name.

.TOXIC.: Sasha, set to the song Toxic by Britney Spears. A match made in heaven!

Eat the Children: "If I'm a danger to myself, just think what I could do to you." August, based on the song of the same name by OTEP.

Give Love a Chance: A minimalist picture showcasing nothing more than eye contact between Nyx and August. Sparks create fire, you know.

The Gothic Cabaret: Nyx playing violin while =Voltaira's Sepulchral sings.

A Sweeter Day: Snare and Nyx, during one of the calmer moments in their relationship.

...And You Don't Know Why: Snare and Nyx. When the end came, it was never a question of why: want could never replace need. Set to Vertical Horizon's song Everything You Want.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena

For The Nights I Can't Remember: Sometimes, I just need to draw Shiori being adorable. For the sake of my sanity. Based on the song by Hedley.

Two Roads Diverged in a Wood: "...and I took the one less travelled by." Kozue and Miki, in an homage to Robert Frost's famous quote.

Resentment of a Queen: Nanami being...well, Nanami.

The Many Faces of Utena: Ever notice just how many outfits Utena was given? I did. So, here's a quick recap!

I Want Us to be Friends Like That: Just a cute little picture of Utena. As much attention as I give the other characters, Miss Tenjou herself is one of my favorites.

Breaking the Axis of Two Worlds: Utena and Anthy. Don't think about the title too much.

SMORGASBOARD: An idea I sort of stole from a fanfiction challenge. I'll be using SKU for this. The plan is to create a description of SKU using 12 words, the first letter of each spelling out the word 'SMORGASBOARD'.

Gilded Gutters: Neon Genesis Evangelion: The pain of the world was not enough. The burden of her piloting duty couldn't measure up. She was never consumed by physical pain. It was not Rei or Shinji. It was never about Kaji, or Misato, or her mother. Asuka's own mental anguish was the only thing she could submit to. A tribute piece.

The Hedgehog's Dilemma: Shinji Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion. He is once described as a victim of The Hedgehog's Dilemma-- the closer he is to someone, the more pain it causes.

Pretty Little Pipe Bombs: Mello, maybe with a dash of Matt on the side (Death Note).

Angelic Asphyxiation: A more serious study of Misa Amane (Death Note).

A City With No People: Laugh all you want, but I have always loved Chobits. True to my darker roots, my favorite character was Freya. A little something for the lonely girl.

The Hero Will Drown: Kato Yue of Angel Sanctuary. Song by Story of the Year.

Dead Eyes Open: Kato Yue and Sakuya Kira of Angel Sanctuary; a very overlooked, but practially canon, pairing. Title comes from a Cinema Strange song.

She Will Always be a Broken Girl: Reira Serizawa of the NANA series. The song, which was practically written for Reira, is by She Wants Revenge.

A Ballad of Wind and Water: Another classic anime, dating all the way back to my childhood (well, sort of): Magic Knight Rayearth. As one could infer from the title, I support Umi/Fuu.

Frog on my Toe: The Lord of the Rings' Lady Eowyn, set to Tori Amos's song of the same name.

Sheilding the Flower: Eowyn's true spirit in battle.

These are the Forgeries of Jealousy: A tribute to Queen Titania of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The title is a line from one of her monologues.


Literature

Verbrechen und Strafe: My magnum opus. 10 souls drawn together within a lonely, fucked-up, and beautiful world. They're still paying for their sins, but they're paving the way for a new salvation.

Stalemate: The devastation faced throughout a young boy's youth brought heavy consequences upon an entire city. Two boys, Velle Metternich and Bosie Ryker, and their plans to destroy this world.

Thomas Jefferson was a Prostitute (TJWAP): The greatest story ever written that has nothing to do with Thomas Jefferson and a lot to do with prostitutes.

Féroce Merveilles: An array of breathtaking colors rest within the hands of a boy forged of carnal desires, pure desperation, and unspeakable horrors. Nothing is ever as it seems.


Misc.

Un Jeu Mortel: The Seven Deadly Sins. The sins (will be italicized when completed):
Vanity, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Lust, Avarice, Gluttony.

Embalming Beauty: A grotesque picture of the darker side of humaity. Real life isn't always pretty.

Blue: A picture of a girl dressed in lolita clothing, completely devoid of color, holding a vibrant blue balloon.

Vendredi la Treizième: Title is French for Friday the 13th. There will be another Friday falling upon the most unlucky day in March, and I will be making my own boy to pair with =Voltaira's.

Slide: Another piece with minimal color, based on the song Slide by The Dresden Dolls.
